  • Can new kindy enrolments start Vacation care the year they commence?
    If you're child is attending Kindergarten Term 1 they can be enrolled and attend Vacation care prior to the commencement of the school year in January.

  • Do I have to do anything once my child finishes Year 6?
    No you don't have to do anything. If you have children in Year 6, their bookings will be manually closed at the end of the year.
  • What hours are you open?
    We are open from 7.15am - 6.15pm but this can be subject to change.
  • Who can attend Vacation Care?
    All children who go to Pennant Hills Public School can enrol in vacation care. This includes children who will join kindergarten who can enrol for January Vacation Care.
  • How many spots are available each day?
    For Vacation care we have 90 spots available each day. If we are running an excursion than we have 60 spots available. This is because the staff to child ratio for an excursion is higher.
  • What activities will you be running?
    We run a variety of activities that are based on children’s interests. These can include water slides, fun fairs, craft-based activities, laser tag and more. The current program for Vacation Care can be found on our website and has all of our major activities, incursions and excursions listed.
  • Are there any excursions for Vacation Care?
    Yes, we have excursions in our vacation care program.
  • How do I enrol my child in vacation care?
    You can enrol your child through My Family Lounge. If you have any questions please send us an email at info@pennanthillsbasc.org.au
  • What do you provide for my child?
    We provide a full day of planned activities as well as 1 cooked meal. This meal is usually afternoon tea but it can vary depending on the activity being run. We also have SunSmart hats that children can wear but we encourage children to bring their own.
  • What should my child bring to Vacation Care?
    Your child should come with enclosed shoes, a SunSmart hat, Morning Tea and Lunch and a spare change of clothes. In summer we also like to suggest you pack a swimming costume for your child.
  • My child has additional needs, who can I discuss this with?
    If your child has additional needs you can send an email to info@pennanthillsbasc.org.au or vacationcare@pennanthillsbasc.org.au additionally you can talk to our centre Director Erin Jeacle or our Vacation Care co-ordinator Melody Newberry. If needed we can have a meeting to discuss any concerns you may have or requirements your child might need.
